The Origin of The Renaissance

You never know what an idea can sprout into! I always liked to surround myself with like-minded individuals who valued growth and development. The title Renaissance Man came from an idea of a close friend who wanted to execute a large scale program that steered towards empowering men in urban communities with focus on black men. This idea later became the anchor of a shift of thoughts that afforded me opportunities I would of never expected.

The Renaissance Man's first programs mission was simple: "Building a connection of knowledgeable and respectable men of society to perpetuate positive images such as financial growth, self awareness, community development and unity." I introduced an icebreaker that was similar to thumb war but showed how working together could produce more than competing. Basically the entire program was an enlightenment and first step towards realizing there is opportunity through unifying the community.

The Renaissance is the new terminology that we will use to define our business development model. The Renaissance is realizing that the opportunity for urban development, social innovation and international trade is now. The Renaissance is creating your business!
